idspace was created as a place for the artists of Hawaii to explore "what might be"; a space to experience the spirit and imagination of those whose processes and products mark our place and time.

As many of you know, after ten wonderful years of exhibitions, gatherings and performances, our beloved idspace outgrew its former rural rainforest home. After months of searching, we've found a space in downtown Hilo, Hawaii that will allow us to continue to provide an alternative venue for visual and performing artists from Hawaii and around the world.

Collaboration, community and friendship are the foundation of idspace and together we can continue to make it grow. idspace has never profited financially and there are substantial costs involved with creation of a new gallery. With the help of indiegogo, we are launching a campaign to raise the needed funds:

renovation materials.....$2000
labor.........................donated
one year's rent.............$8280
total needed..............$10,280
