This rope impressed bottle form, was fired on its side on 3 Opihi shells, causing the wood ash to drip sideways.  Manganese oxide was smeared on one side.

This rope impressed bottle, smeared partially with cobalt oxide, was also fired on its side on 3 Opihi shells.

This flattened bottle form  has a coral impressed design smudged with manganese.
