The Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts is requesting proposals from cultural and arts organizations seeking support for the creation of newly developed artistic works or the preservation of cultural heritage through artistic works. Grant awards of up to $5,000 are available to assist tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations in the fields of dance, theater, music, short film, and literature.
The grants will be awarded to organizations located in the City and County of Honolulu for projects benefiting the people on the island of Oahu. Grant support is intended to provide partial funding for a project and are limited and highly competitive. The deadline for proposals is Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Don't miss this terrific opportunty!
