Please join us
for the opening reception of artwork by
Sally Lundburg in a show titled
Epiphytes and Invasives, at Ironwood
Framing in Kamuela, on Friday, Dec. 17, from
5-7pm. The
show will run through the end of January
2011 with gallery hours of Mon-Fri.
10:30-5:30pm.
Blending
documentary sensibilities with collage
techniques, Sally
Lundburg's mixed media artwork employs a
variety of methods and transfer processes,
often utilizing such materials asraw
wood, rescued paper, spray paint, epoxy
resin, and layered with images printed on
silk and orthographic film. Her current
series, Epiphytes and Invasives, was
inspired by a book published in 2003, titled
"Wao Akua, Sacred Source of Life", and
explores human connections and collisions
with the native landscape.

We
look forward seeing you on Friday night
Dec. 17 for some light pupus and holiday
libations! Ironwood Custom Framing is
