Please join us for the opening reception of artwork  by Sally Lundburg in a show titled Epiphytes and Invasives, at  Ironwood Framing in Kamuela, on Friday, Dec. 17, from 5-7pm. The show will run through the end of January 2011 with gallery hours of Mon-Fri. 10:30-5:30pm. 

 Blending documentary sensibilities with collage techniques,  Sally Lundburg's mixed media artwork employs a variety of  methods and transfer processes, often utilizing such materials asraw wood, rescued paper, spray paint, epoxy resin,  and layered with images printed on silk and orthographic filmHer  current series, Epiphytes and Invasives,  was inspired by a book published in 2003, titled "Wao Akua, Sacred Source of Life", and explores human connections and collisions with the native landscape.
